Will Sasso
Will Sasso is a Canadian comedian and actor best known for being a cast member on the sketch comedy series MADtv from 1997 to 2002.
Sasso’s first major TV part was a starring role in the Canadian teen drama series Madison from 1994 to 1998. During that time, he also had a recurring role on the American science-fiction series Sliders, which aired on the FOX network.
In 1997, Sasso joined the cast of the sketch comedy series MADtv on FOX. He stayed with the show for five seasons and continued to make guest appearances after he left in 2002.
After MadTV, Sasso had a starring role on the ABC sitcom Less than Perfect, which also starred Sara Rue and Eric Roberts. Sasso’s role was originally a recurring part, but he joined the cast for three seasons from 2003 to 2006.
Sasso’s later TV credits include recurring roles on shows such as How I Met Your Mother, Hot in Cleveland, and Shameless. Sasso had a starring role in the comedy-drama series Loudermilk, which ran from 2017 to 2020.
Prior to Young Sheldon, Sasso had a recurring role on the Chuck Lorre sitcom Mom from 2019 to 2021. In 2022, Sasso first guest starred as Mandy's father, Jim McAllister, on Young Sheldon. He made recurring appearances during the show’s sixth and seventh seasons. Recently, Sasso has also had a recurring role in the second and third seasons of the Apple+ show Acapulco.
Sasso’s film credits include a starring role in the 2012 slapstick comedy The Three Stooges, based on the works of the comedy trio of the same name. He has also appeared in films including Happy Gilmore, Beverly Hills Ninja, and Best in Show.
