CBS announces 2025/26 fall line-up

CBS has unveiled its primetime schedule for the 2025/26 season, including the second season of Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage.
Georgie and Mandy is keeping its Thursdays at 8/7c time period, previously occupied by both Young Sheldon and The Big Bang Theory. CBS’s Thursday night line-up is unchanged from this season with the fifth season of Ghosts following Georgie and Mandy at 8:30/7:30c. The Kathy Bates legal drama series Matlock - the #1 new series of the season - returns for a second season at 9/8c, while the third season of crime drama Elsbeth wraps up the night at 10/9c.
CBS renewed Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage back in February, along with renewals for Ghosts and Elsbeth. Matlock had already been renewed by then.
Over on CBS’s Monday night comedy block, The Neighborhood will return for its eighth and final season at 8/7c. It will be followed at 8:30/7:30c by DMV, a new single-camera workplace comedy starring Harriet Dyer and Tim Meadows.
CBS recently noted that Georgie and Mandy is the top comedy series on TV, and the fourth most-watched program overall, averaging 12.1 million viewers per episode across broadcast and 35-day streaming.
Following tonight’s new episode, "Ladies Love Brunch", the first season of Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage concludes next Thursday, May 15 with two back-to-back episodes: "Guilt Boots" and "Big Decisions".
