CBS announces fall 2026/27 schedule
CBS has announced its fall line-up for the 2026/27 season, including the third season of Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage.
Although CBS has made some changes to Thursday nights, Georgie and Mandy will remain in the 8/7c time slot previously held by The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon.
Following Georgie and Mandy at 8:30/7:30c is a new family comedy, Eternally Yours, from the executive producers of Ghosts. The series follows a pair of vampires who have been married for 500 years as they struggle to accept the human who is dating their daughter. It stars Ed Weeks (The Mindy Project) and Allegra Edwards (Upload). Ghosts, meanwhile, will return for its sixth season later in the 2026/27 season.
At 9/8c, the police comedy-drama Elsbeth, starring Carrie Preston, moves to an earlier time slot for its fourth season. The Kathy Bates-led Matlock, which aired its first two seasons in this slot, will instead return midseason.
Finishing off the night at 10/9c is a new drama, Cupertino, from The Good Wife and Elsbeth creators Robert and Michelle King. The series stars Mike Colter (Evil, The Good Wife) as a lawyer cheated out of his stock options by his former employer, who teams up with a fellow attorney, played by Rachel Keller (Fargo), to take on Silicon Valley’s elite.
With Georgie and Mandy, Ghosts, and newcomer Eternally Yours, CBS will air just three comedies in the 2026/27 season, following the conclusion of The Neighborhood and the cancellation of freshman series DMV.
