CBS announces fall premiere dates
CBS has announced its fall premiere dates for the 2026/27 season, including the return of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.
The third season premieres Thursday, October 8, with Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage remaining in the 8/7c time slot previously occupied by Young Sheldon and The Big Bang Theory.
Following Georgie & Mandy at 8:30/7:30c is the new supernatural comedy Eternally Yours, from the creators of Ghosts. Ed Weeks (The Mindy Project) and Allegra Edwards (Upload) star as vampires whose 500-year marriage is complicated when their daughter begins dating a human.
The 8 - 9 p.m. hour will be CBS’s only comedy block this fall. Across the full season, the network’s lineup features only three sitcoms: Georgie & Mandy, Eternally Yours and Ghosts.
Although Ghosts will not begin its sixth season until early 2027, it will make two special appearances this fall. CBS will air a two-episode Halloween special on October 29 and a two-episode Christmas special on December 10. Both hour-long broadcasts will air at 9/8c.
The Carrie Preston-led police comedy/drama Elsbeth moves to 9/8c for its fourth season, taking over the time period previously occupied by Matlock. The Kathy Bates drama will return later in the season.
The night concludes at 10/9c with Cupertino, a new Silicon Valley legal drama from The Good Wife and Elsbeth creators Robert and Michelle King. Mike Colter (Evil, The Good Wife) stars as an attorney who joins forces with a fellow lawyer, played by Rachel Keller (Fargo), after his former employer cheats him out of his stock options. Together, they set their sights on the tech industry’s elite.
