Dougie Baldwin and Jessie Prez join cast
The Young Sheldon spin-off Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage has added Dougie Baldwin and Jessie Prez to its cast, according to a report from Deadline.
Baldwin will portray Mandy's younger brother, Connor, while Prez will play Ruben, a long-serving employee at Jim McAllister's tire store.
Connor McAllister was first introduced in a Season 6 episode of Young Sheldon, "A Baby Shower and Testosterone-Rich Banter", where he was portrayed by Joe Apollonio.
Dougie Baldwin is an Australian actor best known in the United States for his role on the Netflix comedy series Disjointed, which starred Kathy Bates and was co-created by Chuck Lorre. Baldwin also had starring roles in the Australian comedy series Upper Middle Bogan and the Aussie teen drama Nowhere Boys.
Jessie Prez is an American actor whose TV credits include guest appearances on shows such as Shameless, Atypical, Bosch: Legacy, 9-1-1: Lone Star, The Rookie: Feds, and Abbott Elementary. Most recently, Prez had a recurring role in the Netflix limited series Griselda, which starred Sofia Vergara.
Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage sees Montana Jordan and Emily Osment reprising their Young Sheldon roles as the titular couple. Will Sasso and Rachel Bay Jones are also returning as Mandy's parents, Jim and Audrey McAllister.
