Audrey: Amanda, you need to up your game.
Mandy: [scoffs] I'll do you one better. I'm up and I'm out.
Audrey: You can't quit in the middle.
Mandy: Well, I think I hear the baby.
Audrey: I think I hear a baby, too.

Mandy: Are we done?
Audrey: No, we're going again.
Georgie: If you insist. [shuffles cards]
Audrey: You better not be hustling us.
Georgie: I can't believe you would accuse me of that.

Georgie: What's that old saying? Read 'em and weep.
Audrey: Damn it.
Jim: Good job, partner.
Audrey: Is this really your first time playing bridge?
Georgie: [chuckles] Guess I'm just lucky. I mean, look at the family I married into.

Answering Machine: You have one new message. [beeps]
Jay Leno: [on answering machine] Hey, Connor. Jay Leno here. Just wanted to say thanks for the care package. You know, you could never... have too many socks. Anyway, listen, hey, if you're ever in L.A., if you want to come by and jam with The Tonight Show band, the guys would love it. See ya. [machine beeps]
Audrey: Connor?

Mandy: Oh, what a cute baby.
Mom: Thanks.
Mandy: How old is this little guy?
Mom: Just turned one.
Mandy: Oh, I got a daughter about that age. She's at home with my mom. Probably putting her to bed soon. It's been a while since I missed story time. [voice breaking] Okay, let me tell you the specials. The soup of the day is tomato and, uh, we also have a chicken-fried steak with a side of mashed potatoes. You don't want to miss out on the pecan pie. [Mandy sobs as the baby boy grabs her finger]

Georgie: Well, this is a sad sight.
Frank: What took so long?
Georgie: Sorry. Had to fix a couple flats over on Main. What's the trouble?
Frank: Don't know. It just conked out.
Georgie: Well, you buy a foreign car, you take your chances.
Frank: It's British.
Georgie: [British accent] We're saying the same thing, gov'nah.
Officer Gilroy: Hey, Georgie.
Georgie: Oh, hey, Lisa. Thanks for the call.
Officer Gilroy: Thanks for the softball uniforms.

Mandy: Hey, if it's really important to you, I-I'll reach out to my ex and try to get the money back.
Georgie: Oh, no, no, no, you don't want that. Best leave it in the past.
Mandy: Okay.
Georgie: Just promise me, no more secrets.
Mandy: I promise.
Georgie: You sure? If there's anything you need to tell me, now's the time.
Mandy: Nothing. What about you?
Georgie: Nothing. What you see is what you get.
Mandy: 'Kay. Love you.
Georgie: Love you, too.
[Georgie and Mandy kiss, roll apart, and immediately lie there with their eyes wide open. Neither says another word. Georgie turns off the light.]

Georgie: You realize with you working nights and me on a tow truck, we might not be seeing a lot of each other.
Mandy: I know.
Georgie: Or a lot of CeeCee.
Mandy: Well, we'll have a family reunion when we get out of the hole I dug.
Georgie: Sounds like a plan.
Mandy: You're really wonderful, Georgie Cooper.
Georgie: I know. I am what you call "a catch."
Mandy: [chuckles] Okay, don't get carried away with yourself.
Georgie: I'm just saying, for a long time I thought I was the lucky one in this relationship, but maybe it's you.
Mandy: Or maybe we're both lucky.
Georgie: No, I'm pretty sure it's you.
Mandy: You jerk.

Audrey: What if someone were to "accidentally" drop a box of nails over on Main Street?
Mandy: Mom.
Audrey: I'm trying to pay off your credit card, so back off!
Georgie: I like it. Keep thinking.

Georgie: Hey, Mr. McAllister, if you're open to it, I've got some ideas as to how I can be making more money at the store.
Jim: What you thinking?
Georgie: Well, we got a tow truck that mostly just sits there. Why ain't we out there rescuing folks with flat tires?
Jim: 'Cause the police always call Fagenbacher's Texaco when someone needs a tow.
Georgie: I get it, but what if I were to tell you my Meemaw has some cop friends as a result of her...
previous endeavors?
Audrey: Endeavors? You mean an illegal gambling room?
Georgie: We also had a perfectly legal video store to clean the money.

Mandy: Just so you know, I'm gonna be working three nights a week at the diner, start chipping away at those credit cards.
Georgie: What about CeeCee?
Audrey: Amanda and I have already discussed it. Grandma's on the job.
Georgie: Well, if I'm around, I can-
Audrey: Grandma's got it!

Jim: Connor, why don't you be a member of this family and join us for once?
Connor: I'm good.
Jim: Well, I'm not.
Connor: Would you like to join me?
Jim: No.
Connor: Just know, you're always welcome.

Nick: Are y'all gonna have kids?
Georgie: We got one, little girl.
Nick: Aw, well, maybe I can come meet her sometime.
Georgie: I guess.
Nick: Where you live?
Georgie: Alabama.
Nick: Well, shoot, leaving the state would be a parole violation.
Georgie: Well, that's a shame. Good luck to ya.

Nick: You know, Mandy was right to break up with me. I wasn't in a great place.
Georgie: Worse than now?
Nick: Way worse. The night she dumped me, I fell down a flight of stairs.
Georgie: Ouch.
Nick: Good thing I was drunk. Only broke a wrist. That's what that medical bill was. Still clicks. Hear it? [clicking]
Georgie: Oh, yeah. Like a Bic pen.

Nick: You sure you don't want a beer?
Georgie: No, thank you. Now, how we gonna handle this money situation?
Nick: Simple. I'll, uh, write you a check.
Georgie: All right, then. I appreciate you being cool about this.
Nick: Well, making amends is one of the steps of being sober.
Georgie: Ain't not drinking like step number one?
Nick: Oh, yeah, but that's beer, that don't count.

Nick: You see her mom much?
Georgie: Why?
Nick: I always thought she was kinda hot.
Georgie: Oh, ew.

Nick: Can I help you?
Georgie: You know a girl name of Mandy McAllister?
Nick: I used to, why?
Georgie: You owe her a bunch of money.
Nick: Who are you?
Georgie: I'm her husband.
Nick: Oh, damn, she got married? I always thought someday we'd have a reconciliation.
Georgie: Yeah, well, you snooze, you lose.
Nick: You're kinda young, ain't ya?
Georgie: I live a healthy lifestyle, I stay out of the sun.

Jim: Georgie. You're a good man.
Georgie: I try, sir. [exits]
Jim: So glad I didn't shoot him.

Jim: Look, if I tell you, it has to stay secret.
Georgie: Cross my heart, hope to die, stick a needle in my eye.
Jim: We're not on the monkey bars, just say you promise.
