Audrey: Well, if we wanted to do something together, how about we turn my office into a room for the baby?
Mandy: Um, I don't know if I'm ready for her to sleep in her own room.
Audrey: Wouldn't it be nice for you and Georgie to have some privacy?
[fantasy: Georgie and Mandy are kissing in bed:]
Mandy: CeeCee asleep?
Georgie: She's fine. Don't worry about it.
Mandy: Okay.
[toddler CeeCee is standing up in her crib, pointing directly at her mom and dad in bed]
Mandy: [whispers] Slowly take your hand off me.
[reality:]
Mandy: Come to think of it, a little privacy might be nice.

Mandy: Okay, how do I look?
Jim: Beautiful as always.
Audrey: A little too much cleavage.
Mandy: Well, when I'm not working for tips, I'll cover up.
Audrey: Is that the lesson you want to teach your daughter?
Mandy: Are you kidding? These are all I am to her.

Jim: You're workin' for Fagenbacher?
Georgie: What can I say? He knows talent when he sees it.
Audrey: Freddy gave you a job?
Mandy: Please don't say "Freddy" and "job" in the same sentence.

Audrey: It's gonna go great.
Mandy: Yeah, I think so, too.
Audrey: So, are you feeling more confident about all this?
Mandy: Yeah. Yeah, I can do this. You know, I bet it goes so well that they ask me to fill in again next week. And then they'll probably recommend me to the affiliate in Houston, and... and then they'll offer me the job and I'll have to tell Georgie we need to move and he's not gonna want to and it's gonna be a huge fight and I don't want to move CeeCee away from her grandparents but this is my dream job! [goes back into the dressing room]
Audrey: Look at the bright side: maybe you'll stink.

Georgie: [sings] ♪ Soft kitty ♪ Warm kitty ♪ Little ball of fur ♪ Happy kitty, sleepy kitty ♪ Purr, purr, purr. ♪
Mandy: That is so sweet.
Georgie: I'm trying to get her to sleep so we can fool around.
Mandy: Less sweet.

Mandy: I think it's sweet they have something to do together.
Audrey: Your dad always hoped to rebuild the Mustang with Connor.
Mandy: Seriously? Dad and Connor?
Audrey: Go look in the attic. There's footballs, baseballs, fishing poles, bows and arrows. Your father tried everything. He did not give up on your brother.
Mandy: So what happened?
Audrey: He gave up.

Audrey: Have you seen that new Friends show?
Mandy: No.
Audrey: All they do is drink coffee. Who can drink that much coffee?
Mandy: I don't know.
Audrey: And their mugs are like soup bowls. Is that a New York thing?
Mandy: Mom, I don't know.
Audrey: I miss Cosby. He was a nice family man.
